A trusted partner for Lithuania's Transmission System Operator.

NodeIT has entered into a implementation phase + five years agreement with Litgrid, Lithuania's electricity transmission system operator, for licenses, implementation, maintenance, and continued development of a solution based on the AVEVA PI System. The contract is valued at more than EUR 1.6 million.

The agreement marks NodeIT's second international public-sector contract in less than two years and further strengthens the company's position as a highly experienced provider of AVEVA PI System services for Power & Utilities.

“This is a great recognition of the strength and expertise of our team and our ability to compete successfully across the Nordics and Baltics. We are proud to be partnering with Litgrid and look forward to working closely with their team to deliver a robust and reliable solution that supports and improves their operations,” says Jan Erik Kronstad, CEO of NodeIT.

A key role in the power and energy sector

Litgrid is responsible for operating and developing Lithuania's high-voltage electricity transmission grid and plays a central role in the country's energy system. The company is also a key contributor to the integration of the Baltic power systems with the wider European energy market.

Operating critical infrastructure requires reliable technology platforms and effective management of large volumes of operational data.

The contract builds on NodeIT’s growing experience in the sector. The company already provides AVEVA PI System services and expertise to Fingrid Oy, the Finnish transmission system operator, including maintenance and 24/7 support.

“We believe that combining deep technology expertise with a strong understanding of our customers’ operational needs and processes is essential to creating real value from industrial data and for our customers,” says André Åsheim, CTO at NodeIT.

Delivering together with trusted partners

Strong partnerships are a key element of NodeIT's delivery model. For the Litgrid project, NodeIT brings together expertise from Klinkmann, CodeIT Innovation and Software Athlete, combining AVEVA PI System licensing, specialist consulting services, and advanced PI Vision extensions. This collaborative approach provides access to the right expertise and technology to deliver a robust, scalable, and future-ready platform supporting one of the Baltic region's most important energy infrastructure operators.

Continuing international growth

The Litgrid agreement marks another important milestone in NodeIT’s international growth, strengthening our presence across the Nordic and Baltic markets and adding to our growing international customer base.
